- Give us a call and based on the itinerary we will help you select a cruise line to your liking.
- Some cruise lines prefer not be involved in this type of activity.
- There is simply no one cruise line answer. Several factors play into the mix, including possibly the final wishes of the departed loved one. The sea that was requested as the final resting place, departure ports, mix of company on the ship and many other factors all play into the mix. Also, some lines despite being excellent cruise lines choose not to be involved in any funerals at sea.
- The costs for a funeral at sea will vary. All costs are in addition to what is paid to the funeral home on shore for preparation of the remains for burial at sea and any memorial services held ashore. The cruise is the big cost in most cases. However if special services are requested those can add additional costs to the cruise. Ultimately each family will pick the services they want offered for the funeral cruise and the pricing will be based on the services required.
- Ideally the longer advance notice you have for booking the cruise and funeral at sea is best. It will allow us to help find the better priced cruises in the area of the world where the departed would like their remains spread. When the need arises give us a call and we will work with you to make it happen as smoothly as possible.
